Slains castle or to be more precise New Slains Castle. Popular rumour has it that the castle and in particular the octagonal room inspired and is featured in Bram Stoker's Dracula.  Originally built in 1597 by Frances Hay, Earl of Erroll it has seen many troubled times and changes of owner.
