The Dungeness peninsula is a mysterious place, formed by the sea over thousands of years, ancient and yet constantly changing.  It bears the remnants of man's constant struggle against time and tide and yet still supports a thriving community of hardy folk known as 'Marsh men'.  It is a fascinating place to visit, peaceful and yet with so much to see and do.
