Video production
With the internet and social media playing a massive part of promotion and the advent of high speed internet connections and unlimited mobile browsing data the use of videos is something to be embraced.
Whilst it is true most mobile phones come with video capabilities if you have ever tried making a video to promote your business you will have noticed it isn't as simple as 'point the camera and say things'. Very few videos are enhanced with shaky camera work and audio that you can not hear or make sense of.
I specialise in making short, informative videos that start with us agreeing a storyboard - a 'where do you want this to go' plan, what do you want in the way of narration - and if you do want narration who is going to do it? Are you confident to be in front of the camera, or is an off camera voice more your thing? Would you like background music, or would that just get in the way?
I have some links to some very different styles here:-
Poppy Shed Fabrics wanted to explain how they turn your artwork into fabulously functional corporate wear that had a 'homely' feel to it and although camera shy were happy to narrate.
Letting a customer see how a process works and the steps involved in creating the finished product (especially if you are in the bespoke marketplace helps them to understand that cheap is not always good and quality is worth paying for.

The Training Society needed a couple of videos - one that gives a short introduction to what you can expect on a course, then a longer one explaining pre-use inspection checks.
This shorter video is a great way for candidates to get a feel for the course the are considering taking. Reassuring them that the course runs in an informal, safe environment that becomes more lifelike as the week goes on.

The second video is a good example of an explanation. This can be used within a presentation so save the tutor repeating the same thing each time and using simple, moving graphics to explain the concept.
Making the video public not only allows students to view it as many times as they like - it is a great promotional tool. Helping people is a great way to give potential customers a feel for your company.

Do you need to explain the same concept on a regular basis?
If you are an instructor / trainer you will often use presentations as part of delivering a formal course - having a video explaining some of the core concepts can save you a lot of time and engages your students.

Core Driver Training specialise in C1 vehicles.
As part of the driving test involves the student needing to explain some of the under the bonnet checks a video using one of their vehicles was an ideal way to cover that part of the test - especially if it is raining :)

And for something completely different. . .
Access Disability Services wanted something to help explain what an access dog can do, whilst showing an example of the training process and some of the dogs in action. In this example the owner was very confident in front of the camera and we chose to shoot from live locations.

HOW MUCH !
Don't you just hate it when a web site convinces you this could be great for your business, then goes all 'e-mail us for details' - You get that instant 'Oh no, here comes the hard sell, it must be expensive' feeling.
I'm not like that. The most expensive video on here was just £180.00 and most were £120.00. That includes full usage rights**, files delivered as 1,920 X 1,080 mp4 files (I will also supply lower resolution versions at no extra cost - ideal for social media use). Any music / background used will be copyright clear so you need not worry about YouTube 'strikes'.
I'm based at Lichfield and happy to travel 50 miles as defined by Google Maps at no extra - for longer distances or more complicated productions - I can bring a drone, radio microphones, multiple cameras for example, I will need to say 'contact me'.
** Please note - we do, unless otherwise agreed reserve the right to use videos we produce on our own promotional material and will add a 'credit' at the end of the video.**
